- Waste Management: We reduce, reuse, and recycle wherever possible, with minimal single-use plastics on site.
- Local Sourcing: Our kitchen champions seasonal, farm-fresh ingredients sourced from our local garden, nearby farmers and suppliers.
- Sustainable Tourism Guidelines: We follow global best practices for responsible travel – respecting wildlife, ecosystems and local customs. See our T&C’s to learn more.
Conservation in action
We actively support the long-term health of the place we call home through habitat restoration and partnering with like minded eco-warriors.
We’re also proud stewards of the sacred Dupoto Forest, an elephant calving ground and cultural treasure. Guided forest walks with our student ambassadors reveal the ancient knowledge, rare species and sacred stories rooted in its soil.
Our lodge was built with the Maasai Education Centre in mind; to provide training, employment and opportunity for young people across the region. We also invest in education, local-led enterprises and socio-cultural initiatives that work to ensure that the benefits of tourism stay within the community.
